Hi Mald0n... tried all sorts.... with or without SSDT-CPUR, replacing EFI Folder with mentioned,,, and the screenshot is STILL as far as I get.IMG_2088.jpg.zi

Sorry for the delay in replying.. had/have a few issues still on my main build,,, had to restore/reinstall and now have a bunch of efi folders attached to literally every partition in my system which automount with No Name! Not sure why they all automount....... either! Anyhow.. back to this AMD problem... replaced the EFI folder in the Open Core Thumb Drive and WITH or WITHOUT SSDT-CPUR am getting this far and then it simply hangs.... {attached} - Screenshot CSR is disabled by default when I select AHCI (So not sure why it's mentioned twice... Select AHCI then later... disable CSM. If there is another place to disable CSM I cannot find it in this bios).. anyhow I think the installer at least starts now so not sure why it hangs,,,, Please toma en cuenta that Open Core is totally new to me and I am completely comnfused by it,,,, Clover was much easier to work with for me,,, but since Open Core is seemingly the future I am willing to learn,,, IMG_2085.jpg.zip

Hi MalD0n, trying to resurrect High SIerra on a Machine I had to rbuild due to a failed Gibabyte /Intel Board... The Build is Ryzen 5 3500 (6 Core) MSI B550 Carbon Wi-Fi 16Gb Ram NVidia GTX-750 Ti Basically when I boot from the thumb I never get near the installer... I am attaching a Sceenshot,,, I am not sure if the problem here is to do with date and the OS I am trying to resolve.. I remember years ago we had to change something to make the OS Boot... Hi, when I go to use my iphone11 as a Webcam in Ventura I can connect to it seemingly (Skype/Facetime and a few more) but ll there is is a black screen? Any ideas??? Thanks in advance guys! I have the same issue it seems with iGlasses... My webcam is fine but in iGlasses mode.... nada!

Hi MaLd0n... finally updated my machine from Catalina to Ventura... and as usual Olarilla Clover install was smooth and sin problemas! However I once again have a problem with Sleep.. When I put the machine in sleep mode it shuts off for a second and then the PC starts up again but the monitors stay off and the OS suspended... the machine should shut off, right? MY BUILD: ROGSTRIX Z370-G / RADEON RX580 8GB/ 16GB 2133MHZ DDR4 /HYPER X SSD /Coffee Lake i5K Apart from Sleep,,,, Ventura seems to be otherwise perfect! config.plist.zip

More problems as a result of this... Now will not wake from sleep... does not respond to either mouse or keyboard wake... Have to hard restart... and instead of booting into clover... boots into bios repair routine! reverting to my original DSDT awaiting further,,,,

Thanks Mald0n... I will assume that CLover looks there first... Will try with this for a while and see if the KP returns... looks quite a bit cleaner too than my original...

Not sure I follow,,,, The Clover Folder I use is the Olarilla Clover per this link: (so I think I have the righ one already installed....) Do I clean out the "Origin" folder and just have your DSDT.aml there??? or add it to the patched folder and leave the extracted files in Origin??? Thanks...

I have no way of donating - please forgive me for that! No credit cards etc,,, extracted using your method and also CLover... not sure what the patch is.....but it obviously is connected to Bluetooth I can only send the clover extracted files too as the Max total size for upload is 2.93 Mb and the SendMe.zip file created weights 5.8Mb!!!! Clover extracted.zip

So now the question becomes... How on earth does one extract a DSDT in this day and age? This is the real problem... for years we used DSDTSE or DSDT Patcher... MaciAsl,.,,, Then there was Aida 64... and so on...and so on..... It keeps changing! None of these old methods seem to work anymore... or the software used to extract does not? The last time I did extract a DSDT it was a monster .. made up of many files and not just one!.... Tthere was no list of patches or app to show where the problems and errors were,,,, so I placed what I had in the EFI... and MasOS would not boot afterwards!!! It booted fine without it! and yes this is with a Vanilla Kernel... A Mess in other words,,,, RTather have a system that will boot! Right now the system runs perfectly apart from this one little intermittent issue... when it does throw a KP I may need to rebooot once or twice more for it to go aeay but when it does the system is fine! Rather that that a mess of DSDT fileas and a Black Screen!

How so???? am not about to go mess with the DSDT (that is if I am even using one... which I doubt,,, as this configuration has not required on for years,,,, it uses the native DSTD via clover afaik) if its going to make things worse fro the sake of a sometimes faulting Bluetooth Ketx! From what I have read elsewhere this seems to have been an issue in Catalina for which the AirportBcrmFixup.kext was touted as a solution... but apparently not,,, which is why I came here for constructive help. Mess with this/mess with that is NOT helpful!!!! Sorry... but it neither aids or helps one to to learn how to troubleshoot problems now or in the future,,,, which results with people like me replying with posts just like this!!! What is the point of the forum if not to HELP others!! Mald0n... you've been so much help with issues in the past....These KPS are just difficult for me to understand......
