Okay, I finally have Big Sur installer for AMD to start installing. But when trying to boot into the installed macos, I get a circle with a line through it ? with a caption that says 'support.apple.com/mac/startup' error. How do I fix this? I already tried to use first-aid in the utilities, but it didn't correct the error even though it said it was successful.

I was thinking of that. I am wondering if the USB mapping is getting mixed up, will try this tomorrow. My machine wouldn't update from Catalina to Big Sur, it would just freeze, I'm guessing from kernel panic but can't seem to get the point where the installer panics. I had Big Sur 11.1 working, but lost it when I was trying to fix a Linux problem. I will try your suggestion tomorrow and let you know what the result is.

I am trying to install Big Sur 11.2 using the installer for AMD 2700x Asus b450 but my keyboard was not registering for me to be able to move cursor to install. I have used the EFI folder from Olarila since the original would give me kernel panic. My keyboard is a US 102 keyboard. Any idea how I can get the installer to work with my keyboard?

What flavor? Sierra, High Sierra, Catalina, or Big Sur?

I have successfully upgraded from Catalina 10.16.7 to Big Sur 11.1.0 after updating Opencore and necessary kexts before allowing the upgrade. Couldn't do it with Clover, but Opencore was easier to manipulate in order for everything to work. I have a Asus Strix B450-F motherboard with a Ryzen 7 2700.

Well it looks like olarila.com has another upgrade to work on: https://www.apple.com/macos/big-sur-preview/?cid=CDM-US-DM-P0020245-451435&cp=em-P0020245-451435&sr=em Next upgrade is code named Big Sur.

I'm using the same cpu and motherboard as well. At first my digital drive wasn't working. After the upgrade to 10.15.5 it has started working. I didn't have to add any kexts other than the original kexts in the install Great job Olarila.

Hi guys, I have successfully installed Mac Os Catalina on my PC. I have an i5 intel cpu and using a 2Tb hdd. But, I cannot update the configurator nor can I boot with out the USB installer. I have tried copying the EFI file from the installer to the EFI partition where my os was installed, but still will not boot from hdd. Also, having trouble updating Catalina to latest update. Any ideas on how to solve these issues?
