I have the same laptop Asus Zenbook pro UX501VW with the nVidia GTX 960M and Intel HD 530 and I am not able to get the internal display working. I can have full resolution using the HDMI connector but when applying thses patches the internal monitor stop working. Is it working for you and what was the solution? I am really only interested to get the internal display working at a higher resolution than 1024x768. Thanks for this forum and any help you can provide.
