Request for help upgrading to Sonoma from BigSur
luser01 replied to luser01's topic in DSDT Patch Requests
Thank you for the reply. It failed, this is the issue I have been having and it makes no sense. - Deleted Old EFI - Copy/paste new EFI - Reset NVRAM 1X - Selected Installer Scrolled for a bit and rebooted. https://file.io/B1eRQSPRF8Mn Logs.zip -
MB: MSI MEG x570 Unify CPU: 5950X I am currently on Big Sur with everything working. Tried every git hub release for an EFI. Tried the one provided here. Nothign seems to work, but I can get back to big sur just fine. Send me Mac-Pro.zip

Yes, I used you full EFI and tried the files from Arquivo Comprimido.zip. I am up and running now with the files I sent you. I should have gotten a gigabyte board :/ Thank for your help;

No go with either of those. The solution I found came from https://nickwoodhams.com/x99-hackintosh-osxaptiofixdrv-allocaterelocblock-error-update/ Which references a clover ticket https://sourceforge.net/p/cloverefiboot/tickets/125/?limit=1000 The last post basically says some of us are out of luck https://sourceforge.net/p/cloverefiboot/tickets/125/#b844 I was thinking that opencore might solve the issue, but I couldn't get that to work either.

@MaLd0n I can't even get to an install. Is there something I can run from windows that would help?

System: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Intel I9-9900K 64GB DDR4 3200 EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 Getting error of Couldn't allocate runtime area Using: Olarila CLOVER.SERIES.100.200.300 EFI (High Sierra) I have tried OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 and a few other suggestions I had found on my own. Has anyone gotten this board to work? Image is a bit blurry,but. https://i.imgur.com/pLv1O1a.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'>

Yes. same results. I have heard of others getting these CPUs working, but no one has ever shared the secret.

MaLd0n, Attached is my clover folder with the dump. CLOVER.zip

First I tried mixing my files with yours. Then I deleted my clover folder and added yours new. Same results on both.

MaLc0n, Thank you for your response. I dropped your Clover folder in and tried. Still getting the same error. I have tried with 1 cpu, hyperthreadding disabled.

Did you ever find a solution to this? The 2667 and 2687 have an odd issues. I am stuck trying to get my 2667's working, been banging my head for weeks.

Greetings Everyone! Just switched processors a couple days ago because I needed more single core performance. ** My system was working without issues using Dual E5-2690 V2. I have been banging my head against the wall on a boot issue. The error is “32 threads but 33 registered from MADT” . New Specs: Asrock EP2C602-4L/D16 64GB ECC Ram CPU Model: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2667 v2 @ 3.30GHz CPU Codename: Ivy Bridge-E/EN/EP/EX CPU Revision: 306E4h Logical Processors: 32 Nvidia 1080TI I have tried multiple things. Custom ssdt-1.aml, generated the cpupm, added, removed kexts, etc. Looking for some ideas. Thanks CLOVER (1).zip
