  1. I never had these issues on my machine. It literally runs perfectly. So I am not sure why you are having these issues, even though it seems you have the same exact variant of the ThinkPad T490 as mine.
  2. Yes, that's probably it. You should probably check all the requirements of a hackintosh before proceeding in the future. I don't know, man, sorry. But if you find a solution, please publish it here! 🙂 This is because I don't even have the device anymore, so it doesn't really matter to me. I have switched to a Lenovo ThinkPad T490 fron that i3 plastic crap laptop. The plastic was literally deteriorating day-by-day on that piece of crap.
  3. I am sorry, but I can't help you with this. I suggest you try to find a fix for yourself and introducing it here would be appreciated.
  4. Add -v in boot-args in NVRAM section of Config.plist using OC Auxiliary Tools. Then send screenshot of the verbose error when booting. Wait as long as you can until no more errors come and then you take screenshot. You can take screenshot with phone camera.
  5. Try using the updated v1.0.1_r7 version. I've fixed something in it. If it still does not boot properly, please follow the previously mentioned instructions to debug and provide me with it.

  7. DISCLAIMER: PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO HACKINTOSH YOUR IDEAPAD OR ANY MACHINE FOR THAT MATTER! I've never faced the issue with APFS formatting, but am guessing that it's a fault with the drive and/or the Olarila Sonoma raw file. I reccomend you retry by watching this video here with some extra notes which are to get the OpenCorePkg Release from here, check the "List USB external hard drives" option in the "Show advanced drive properties" drop-down menu inside Rufus tool, extract my EFI (not theirs) alongside the com.apple.recovery.boot folder, and setup the WI-Fi in the installer before attempting to try any other operation in the installer from the top panel. Anyway, here's the video: Oh, and one VERY IMPORTANT thing to know is that it's absolutely expected to reboot at ~70% during the installation. All you have to do is reboot to the USB drive and manually boot the new option called "macOS Installer." Do this each time your machine reboots until it gets to the setup screen of macOS Sonoma I feel that ALL of this should be something for everybody to note if they're trying to hackintosh their machine.
  8. I can't access your EFI, make sure to set access to anyone with link for viewer in Google drive share settings.
  9. By the way, the issue has been resolved by just removing AMFIPass.kext from my EFI and Config.plist. I have also made a perfect vanilla EFI for my T490 here on Olarila!
  10. Send me your full EFI. I'll try troubleshooting.
  11. Just use GenSMBIOS from github by downloading the zip from master branch and keep generating SMBIOS and keep checking with apple coverage. If it says that the serial number isn't valid, just keep repeating and at one point, you will get your SMBIOS. Also make sure to take a screenshot of it right away after you checked that it is a real SMBIOS.
  12. Open Config.plist and add the boot-arg "-v" to the boot-args section in NVRAM. Do this with OCAT OpenCore tool or whatever you use. After that, try booting from the SSD again. By the way, which macOS version are you using? Oh, and make sure to send a video of the verbose/logs when booting from SSD.
  13. Here it is for macOS Big Sur to Sonoma! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW BEFORE USE! CLICK ME TO DOWNLOAD OPENCORE To download the EFI on GitHub, all you have to do is click "Source code (zip)" under the assets section and you're ready to go! Everything works except for HDMI, for Wi-Fi in macOS Sequoia 15 you need to use HeliPort. On macOS Big Sur to Sonoma, it is built in to macOS. Also, it is reccomended that you use the YogaSMC app for the best experience out of this Lenovo laptop! Always check back for updates in my GitHub every 3 or so days. You'll be able to see the update(s) in the GitHub commits or the releases/tags. Furthermore, if you don't know the difference between OpenCore and OpenCore MOD; it is that the MOD version can boot into other operatings systems except for macOS without injecting the Hackintosh stuff to them. Please donate to me on Ko-Fi if you really appreciate my work ??! Any amount would be so beneficial to me! CLICK HERE TO DONATE! Please pin and star this topic?? @MaLd0n. It is very useful!
  14. The title says everything! I got a ThinkPad T490 and tried to hackintosh but kept getting this error in OpenCore 1.0.1 with macOS Sequoia installer. I don't know how to fix it and have never dealt with anything such as this in the past. If anybody is willing to help; thank you! 15. Alright, try my EFI and tell me how it works! Make sure you have Intel Wi-Fi or native Wi-Fi! And also make sure your macOS is Big Sur to Sonoma! Here it is! Also make sure to use your own SSDT with SSDTTime!
