CPU Power Management SSDT Problem

Post by pavle » 09 Aug 2019, 08:16

I have ssdt generated with Piker Alpha's ssdtPRGen for my cpu and I placed it inside /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched and I dropped CpuPm and Cpu0lst in Acpi section of config.plist and when I reboot and login pc reboots itself after 30 seconds
and that repeats whenever pc boots up

I am using SMBIOS 13,2 and I used this arguments -target 0 -p i3-2100 -m iMac12,2 -b Mac-942B59F58194171B to generate ssdt

My System Specs:
Video: - nVidia GeForce GTS 450 (1GB)
CPU: - Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.1GHz
MB: - Gigabyte H61M-S2-B3
RAM: - 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz Kingston

Generated ssdt file is located in EFI.zip for which I posted link below

Can someone please help me to properly setup CPU Power Management?

How do you mean ssdt is for ivy bridge? SSDT is generated for i3 2100 cpu which is sandy bridge.

Not a good idea for someone to generate PM script on a separate machine.

Have you tried this link? [Local Link Removed for Guests]

.."I will get same error.." Does this imply you are assuming without even trying?

Read the guide again. Download the DATA folder and Pike's folder direct from github as documented. Good luck.

I followed guide and I downloaded data folder and I used same arguments -target 0 -p i3-2100 -m iMac12,2 -b Mac-942B59F58194171B to generate ssdt and it generated successfully. After that I opened it and compiled it and after placing it inside /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched pc still reboots itself after 30 seconds.

Investigate the cause by finding the panic report via Console. Hopefully, there's a useful clue in there.

pavle, Its possible the issue is a hardware failure. But, lets see what others have to say about your problem.

It's not hardware failure. Hardware is working perfectly on Windows 10.

I found DSDT for my motherboard on [External Link Removed for Guests]
I downloaded it and compiled it(here is output: [External Link Removed for Guests]) and placed it inside /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched and now pc doesn't reboot anymore after 30 seconds.
DSDT file: [External Link Removed for Guests]
EFI folder: [External Link Removed for Guests]
I took output files from SystemInformation, IORegistryExplorer, Intel Power Gadget and AppleIntelInfo when pc booted up:
[External Link Removed for Guests]

I also took output files without generated ssdt for my cpu: [External Link Removed for Guests]
Can you please check if output is correct?

pavle, Didnt know your were running DSDT-less. I strongly recommend using your own ACPI table instead of using a DSDT from the internet (although it may be of the same build and same bios version).

I pressed F4 when I was at clover menu and then I logged in. Files from below image were added to origin folder.
I tried to compile DSDT.aml and I got two errors: [External Link Removed for Guests]
I fixed them by commenting Store (Local0, Local0) in lines 287 and 292: [External Link Removed for Guests]
