Only Lion because of video, GMA 950 only works in 32 bit (arch=i386) and Mountain Lion is 64 bit.

How to install

Or you can download USB image from my signature.

You can burn a DVD

But I recommend you get an USB stick, it's really useful because you may need to delete/modify files on the installer.

Of course, how do you expect to create the installer without the files from Apple?

If you download the DVD image already created, obviously you don't need the dmg from App Store.

No, I'm not sure, you will have to test.

I know you can run 64 bit OS, but GMA 950 drivers are 32 bit only (don't exist in Mountain Lion) so you will have no graphics acceleration.
