Download EFI Folder EFI Dell Optiplex 3060.zip

-Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB
-Users with IGPU can use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation
-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

Hi everyone, I'm currently having a few issues with my device: the battery always shows as fully charged (I've tried various kexts but couldn't get it working), I can't adjust the brightness via the keyboard, and my processor seems to be running inefficiently—my laptop runs smoothly in Windows, but it feels a bit laggy and slow in Sequoia. Hi, I need help with my Hackintosh EFI. My hardware is an Intel Core i5-3470 (Ivy Bridge), B75 motherboard, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz, and an AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB GDDR5 128-bit Baffin connected to a 1440x900 monitor through HDMI. I currently don’t have a working EFI, so I generated one using OpenCore Simplify, but I have two main problems: OpenCore boots without showing the graphical interface/OpenCanopy, and when macOS boots, the screen is displayed at a very small/low resolution and does not properly fill my 1440x900 monitor. The RX 560 works normally in Windows, so I believe the problem is related to the Hackintosh/OpenCore configuration. I would like help creating or fixing an EFI specifically for this hardware, including the correct OpenCanopy configuration and graphics settings so macOS can properly initialize the RX 560 and use 1440x900 through HDMI. I can provide my current EFI, config.plist, BIOS settings and screenshots if necessary. I am using OpenCore, not Clover.

I cant get my graphics to work on internal Laptop-Screen, tested for days, i am not new, got 7 different Laptops making work fine with Sequoia, but this i don´t - I know its the right Device-ID, i extracted out of my bios teh correct Data and pacthed in Grubshell my DVMT - so it shoudl work, on an external monitor it works with acceleration on the interlan no picture, its not a backlight problem because its a black screen with backlight, so that is not eh problem, man this is really hard.

Hi,

I have an AMD FX-8350 and an ASUS M5A78LM LX Plus motherboard, 4 GB of RAM,

I've tried the Olarila images—both Monterey and High Sierra—and both get stuck on “authenticate error” after the part where it checks basesystem.dmg

I also have a problem when I try to use Parallels with OpenCorePKG to create a USB drive and add the Realtek 8111 Gigabit network kext—it causes a kernel panic and always reboots. What could be causing this?

Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing random hard freezes on macOS after updating my motherboard BIOS, and I'm hoping someone can help identify the cause.

System Specifications

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z890-P
BIOS Version: 3012
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 5 225F (Arrow Lake)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB
RAM: 16GB DDR5
SSD: Lexar NS100 512GB
SMBIOS: MacPro7,1
OpenCore: (please insert version)
macOS Sequoia 15.x
macOS Tahoe 26 Beta

Problem Description

Before updating the BIOS, both macOS Sequoia and macOS Tahoe were running perfectly stable using the exact same EFI and OpenCore configuration.

After updating to BIOS version 3012, both operating systems became unstable.

The system boots successfully and reaches the desktop without any issues. However, after approximately 10–20 minutes of use, the entire system freezes.

Symptoms

Mouse and keyboard completely stop responding.
Caps Lock no longer responds.
Audio sometimes loops/repeats for a few seconds before the freeze.
In some cases the system remains frozen indefinitely.
In other cases it eventually reboots.
The issue appears more frequently while opening or using applications.

Troubleshooting Already Performed

Reset NVRAM
Disabled Secure Boot
Disabled Fast Boot
Disabled VT-d
Disabled VMD / Intel RST
Removed a suspected failing HDD
Checked CPU temperatures (typically between 50–57°C)
Verified that Windows runs completely stable on the same hardware
Tested both macOS Sequoia and Tahoe
The exact same EFI was stable before the BIOS update

Additional Notes

SMBIOS is MacPro7,1
RX 580 is detected correctly
macOS boots normally and reaches the desktop
No obvious kernel panic is displayed during boot
Both Sequoia and Tahoe are affected
The problem started immediately after updating to BIOS 3012

I have attached my current EFI/config.plist for review.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could take a look and help identify the cause of these freezes. Since the exact same EFI was completely stable before the BIOS update, I'm wondering whether BIOS 3012 introduced ACPI, CPU power management, CFG Lock, or OpenCore compatibility issues on Z890 / Arrow Lake systems.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior after updating the BIOS on an ASUS Z890 motherboard?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

SSD2 (The ssd that im going to install macOs Sequoia) Kingstom SATA A400 940GB

Dedicated graphic card: NVIDIA GTX 1660 TI

I wanna install macOs sequioia or tahoe, i know that i need to disable the dedicaded graphic card but to be honest I tried and dont works
