I’ve been trying to install macOS Sequoia using your EFI, but it’s not progressing any further. Could you please help me troubleshoot this?

Greetings Maldon! I've been attempting to install Monterey using your appropriate EFI however halfway through the process, I get this error----> An Error Occurred Loading The Update. I've tried another Install SSD, as well as an attempt at Sonoma with the exact same results. The System Clock (bios) was not displaying correctly so I adjusted that. Weird thing is the time is not updating itself after I reboot and go into the bios. Not sure if that's playing a part in this issue. Thanks very much!

I have successfully installed macOS Tahoe 26.1 using the Olarila image and would like to request a DSDT patch for my Asus Prime Z490-P system. I'm experiencing graphics and stability issues, particularly with WhateverGreen.kext.

Complete System Specifications:

Motherboard: Asus Prime Z490-P
CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K (Comet Lake)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB (Sapphire)
Memory: 32GB DDR4 2400MHz (Ballistix Sport LT)
Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB
macOS Version: macOS Tahoe 26.1

Critical Installation Issue:

WhateverGreen.kext had to be removed from EFI/OC/Kexts to complete installation
With WhateverGreen present: Kernel panic/critical error during boot
Without WhateverGreen: Installation successful but GPU issues persist

Current Issues:

System freezes/crashes - Random unresponsive system
Green screen artifacts - Occasional display corruption
Sleep/wake failure - Black screen after sleep
USB port issues - Some ports may not work correctly

Thank you for your expertise. I believe with proper DSDT patches and GPU configuration, my system should be 100% stable.

sidecar/ airplay black screen Sequoia

Hello, my hackintosh is Z490 + i5-10500 + amd rx5500 and in Sequoia sidecar/airplay gives me black screen on my appleTV.

But with same machine when i test with Tahoe OS it works, and with Ventura OS its ok as well !

So i have no idea why in Sequoia something is wrong.

I have SMBIOS iMac 20.1 and in BIOS igpu is activated.

The only difference is : my Ventura config/plist has no patchs regarding my broadcom pci WiFi card

And same for Tahoe, as theres is no wifi solution at the moment on this OS

So i tried removing amfi patches etc... on my Sequoia but still, airplay gives me black screen.

Any idea on what to do for Sequoia to get Airplay working ? thanks in advance

I just rebuild my pc/hackintosh and had the great idea to switch from INTEL to AMD. My components are the folowing:

Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2
AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
AMD Radeon RX570
Kingston Fury Beast Black RGB EXPO DDR5 / 6000
Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210
Realtek ALC897

Tried to get up and running using Hardware Sniffer + OpCore Simplify it provided me with an "complete" EFI but it will not boot.

I someone has the time and will to help out, I will attach the files resulted from Hardware Sniffer and the link to the EFI resulted from OpCore Simplify (https://idhome.me:5001/sharing/XCDdkRWKc)

Hello, I created a Mac OS Sequoia installation media, but I can't install it despite my working EFI folder under Sonoma. I'm attaching my config.plist to help me with the installation. Thank you in advance for your help.
