I installed voodooHDA kext on my pc, I dont know how it installed first time and my sound was working perfectly. Then i have issue with my Graphics card. I figured it out that also. Then i change my hard drive i was using my backup HDD before. When i installed fresh lion osx 10.7 since then i am having voodooHDA kernel panic. I dont know what went wrong i google every single solution available but i cant figure it out what wrong with my sound card. after one week, messing around with sound card i cant find any solution. They i again installed lion on my backup hdd again i cant install voodooHDA kext every time it boot i give me kernel panic. Any solution from guru's out there will be help full.

I remove AppleHDA.kext 1st in my S/L/E rebooted my system, then install voodooHDA kext and repair permission with kext wizard

Thx for the reply. I already seen that post but can't figure out any solution. I think its something inside the info.plist that i have to modify, but still can find any working solution. Still waiting for some solution.

I see you enabled all fixes, do you really need them?
Code:
         <key>VoodooHDAEnableHalfMicVolumeFix</key>
         <true/>
         <key>VoodooHDAEnableHalfVolumeFix</key>
         <true/>
         <key>VoodooHDAEnableMuteFix</key>
         <true/>
         <key>VoodooHDAEnableVolumeChangeFix</key>
         <true/>

Have you tried version 2.7.2 or earlier?

Make sure you don't have any other audio kext (AppleHDA, Azalia, renamed VoodooHDA).
