Hello, I'm releasing the System Info app, developed by me based on oldnapalm's idea. It has two main uses, first as a hardware parser, as in this image:



And second, linking devices to its related kext, as shown below:



The application goal is, beyound helping the user to identify hardware, to generate a Hardware Compatibility List, which browser is available at http://olarila.com/kexts. The user can send kext information (name and version) and respective device ids to feed the system from inside the application, selecting the menu option "Transmit data", as in the image:

Windows and Linux versions allow users to evaluate the hardware compatibility. Requires java JRE to run.

Icon meaning:

• - device was reported as working;
• - device was not reported, but devices in this class are not usually reported;
• - device was not reported, and devices in this class are usually reported.

How to upload kexts

I got a problem ,

when I put the Ven ID and Dev ID and Click search button ,

then It's just showed nothing ,


But I used the System Info First,

It's showed my devices have kext.

what's problem with it??

You have to type vendor or device ID (not both) and select the right option in the combo box below.

Hi, where can I download the compatible kext? A bit confuse, and dont know how to use the systeminfo...

how i can download kext from olarila.com/kext

You can download only if the button is enabled. If it's disabled the kext is not available for download, only the information for compatibility check is available.

i got a problem in this computer it can't open the file
with java and java is correctly instaled, what can i do

Which Java version and which OS?

Run from terminal (java -jar) and post the error message.

with windows 7 x 86 last version of java
cause i go to page to get it and it sais that i have the lastest

Right click on the jar and choose to open with Java Runtime, maybe the jar extension is associated with another app.
