Use this boot CD, it should work
http://blog.nawcom.com/?p=446

After installing, if the system doesn't boot from HD (still waiting for root device), install this kext

Drag the kext into /System/Library/Extensions and run Kext Utility

For audio use VoodooHDA (remove AppleHDA to avoid possible kernel panic)

For video install Fermi driver (requires 10.6.5 or later) and use GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Okay, got sound working.

Still get 'waiting for root device' error when booting from HDD. Do I need to reinstall Chameleon?

And those graphics drivers are no good - says unsupported.

No, just install the kext and run Kext Utility.

- copy mpkg to desktop
- show package contents
- edit distribution.dist
Code:
var system_models = ["MacPro3,1", "MacPro4,1", "MacPro5,1", "insert your model indentifier here"];

If it was MacPro3,1 it should work as is. Check in About this Mac - More info.

Okay, so after putting in 'OSX86Hack 1,1' in, it lets me install it!

However, still can't boot to HDD, after install of AppleATA kext?

Try to extract the kexts from CD (may be in Extensions.mkext) and install them to the HD

Use Kext Wizard for that
