Insira o method _DSM no device WLAN.

No Asus N53J ele fica dentro do device RP02. Se não encontrar, procure no IORegistryExplorer.

Atheros 9285

Lembre de verificar o endereço no ioreg, no exemplo é WLAN@0 (0x00) e está dentro de RP02@1C,1 (0x001C0001)
Code:
into device name_adr 0x00 parent_adr 0x001C0001 insert

Pode usar o nome do device ao invés do endereço, mas acho que o nome varia mais (de um modelo para outro)

Se o device WLAN não existir na DSDT, use o patch Atheros 9285 (no WLAN).

Amigo, sou novo no forum, mas tenho Hack desde 2009. Pela primeira vez não estou conseguindo fazer minha nova rede funcionar, que é uma TP-Link WN781ND, que é este mesmo AR9285, com Dev 2b e Vend 168c. Já modifiquei a kext, mas não consigo conexão no Lion.
A questão é que o placa encontra os sinais de rede, mas não conecta. Nem com WAP, WAP2, WEP ou sem nenhuma senha também.
Não sei se tem como ajudar, mas estou sem noção nenhum do que fazer. Obrigado.

Se o roteador for N não vai funcionar, configure como G.

Então, foi isso mesmo... uma frustração, pois pensei que funcionaria em n. Tentei tudo. Com o patch consegui conectar tranquilo em wap, mas wap2 nem pensar. Será que existe solução para isso?

Aqui funciona normal em WPA2, mas no protocolo G. Para o N não conheço solução.

Dependendo do device ID (por exemplo 2b ou 2e) pode precisar inserir o ID em /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortAtheros40.kext/Contents/Info.plist

Também pode usar esta kext legacy para não ter que editar novamente após atualizações
