Mavericks on Vaio Vpceb3m1e

Re: Missing bluetooth controller

Wonderful now after made the org.chameleon.boot.plist with
-v -f
Restart fix
Npci=0x2000
Usb fix

And the Smbios.plist with the closer mac spec ( do i have to manual insert infos about cpu?)
I can boot to desktop :)
The verbose says that the SMC module cant used and Falls back to older one (?)
Now can i go further kexts? Actually graphic res is wrong, wifi doesnt work, ethernet no audio no, touchpad no

Hello

Ok.

Infos about CPU will be management by bootloader. You need choose correct SMbios to your CPU, if not power management won't work.
Look for a most compatible mac computer model.

First thing: You need adjust your power management.
You'll need create a SSDT to generate P and C states, patch AICPUPM and active DropSSDT. Know how do it: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1703

Your graphic card was recognized? If not, read the guide, there are all thing you need.

Hi there and hi Pimentelx86.
Thanks for the help u made me, i was close to give up everything and reinstall Debian after a week of loops and bad luck, but with the infos u gave me now things starting to get right and the satisfaction is incredible.
THANKS AGAIN!
I promise i'll made a complete and up to date guide for complete installing on the Vaio VPCEB3M1E ( i have 6 of these machines ).
I've read the last link u posted about the Power Management, and had to install first the Wifi drivers to download the script.
The wifi kext is working like a charm :)

steps i made till now:

-Olarila's usb intel MAV image installed otb
- chameleon 2.2 svn installed otb (no options, only boot loader + theme)
- FAKESMC installed
- Atheros KEXT installed (wifi)
- created the org.chameleon.plist with these flags:
-v
-f
-USBFIX
-npci=0x2000
-Restart Fix

Now I tried the script u linked but it's not working with older CPUs than Sandy Bridge.
I've read around and seen that it SHOULD be enough to specify on chameleon.plist the following flags:
-generate P-States
-generate C-states
- Drop SSDT

Seems working but i don't know for sure. Also i don't know which SMBIOS choose cause there is no arrandale official mac configs :/
At the moment i'm triing to install the ATi Mobility 5650 kexts.
I've read here that i should need 3-4 kexts but googling i only found 1 kext provided by another VPCEb3M1E owner (ATY_Init.kext), any hint to proceed?
thanks in advance

Excuse me, I thought you had Sandy Bridger, but you have Nehalem/Arrandele

So you only need do:
*Generate C States
*Generate P States
*DropSSDT=No

Isn't necessary patch AICPUPM or have SSDT to your CPU
Use Chameleon Wizard to facilitate your configuration.

This guide will teach everything about AMD graphic: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=736
You don't need install nothing, only active.

Good Luck!
