this is from gateway e-475m laptop running 10.7 d4. currently the usb is not working with 10.7 d4 (10.6 worked fine) everything else works. this is the version that uses gm965 w/x3100 graphics

Thanks that worked perfect on the gm965 w/x3100 graphics.

this is from another gateway e-475m laptop running 10.7 d4. like before the usb doesnt work. This is the version that uses pm965 w/ati x2100 graphics (256mb)

this one didnt work. it locked up at boot. when looking at the data (-v). the data shows the copyright then:

MAC Framework successfully initalized
using 16384 buffer headers and 10240 cluster IO buffer headers
IOAPCI: Version 0x20 Vectors 64:87

after that it just hangs.
